Apartment renovation

After several years of rental, the tenants decided to renovate their 1960’s apartment in a block of flats to adjust it to their lifestyle. The landlord demanded a minimum building intervention, while the tenants wanted to keep the budget as low as possible. This led to several innovative ideas. By renouncing everything superfluous, choosing the materials carefully and putting in their own work, the tenants saved enough money to be able to afford two cult design chairs by Charles Eames, the famous 20th century American designer, which bring a final touch to the ascetic apartment.
