Renovation of the ground floor spaces in the central part of Jelšingrad Manor

Jelšingrad Manor is the result of several transformations: from a medieval fortress to a baroque residence and then to an oriental addition. The building articulates the rare coexistence of spatial languages – baroque and oriental, East and West. The renovation was designed as a continuity of the traces of the past, which co-create the identity of the space. The material layers, which carry their historical value, are preserved while adding a new layer, making the entire composition an inseparable whole. The renovation continues with interventions on the façade and in the Moorish Hall.
