Renovation of the apartment in the “German House”
The apartment was once a studio in which the painter Alenka Gerlovič lived from 1954 until her death in 2010. The special feature of the apartment is a large ceiling window (Oberlicht), which illuminated the studio space. With the renovation, authors wanted to preserve the original elements of the apartment, refresh it and improve the space. The choice of materials conceptually connects with the previous studio purpose of the place.
