Podmark Villa
The villa was built by the Italian architect Pietro Venuti after the First World War. He placed it on a hill, in a lush garden with a large concrete pergola. It was intended as a weekend house for his family. The interior of the villa has been roughly reworked over time. Only basic supporting structure, roof and stone-brick facade have been preserved from Venuti’s design. The villa and garden are currently being renovated. The main goal of the architects is to restore the original layout of the rooms and the lively colors as they once were.
Podmark Villa is located in Šempeter pri Gorici.
