L56: Temporary space for SNG Drama Ljubljana

Slovenian National Theatre Drama is moving to former industrial building from the 60s, where the Main Stage and Small Stage will be temporarily set up with all accompanying programs, covering more than 4500 sqm. Architectural design includes two types of interventions: permanent “infrastructure” and temporary elements. The first are open public areas, communications and service “cores”, made of durable materials to enable the building to function also with later programs. The temporary elements that articulate the theatre’s specific programs can be dismantled and reused after SNT Drama returns to its renovated building in the centre of Ljubljana.
