House VP
A mezzanine house from the 70’s stands on a long and narrow plot near Žalec. The house has been thoroughly renovated for a couple. The biggest challenge were dark stairs and small spaces with low ceilings. The rooms are visually and functionally connected in vertical axis and with the N and S garden. A skylight brings light to the interior staircase, the central axis, on which the rest of the rooms are arranged. The garage at the entrance is a barrier against the noise from the road.
