House renovation in Celje

These terraced houses near the Savinja river were built in 1953 as the first project of a young architect, Daniel Jagrič, and became a landmark of Celje. Because of their colourful facade they were known as the Celje beehives. They are an example of quality living with all the modern facilities. The renovation carried out in 2005 brought a radical change in the layout and provided for a very fluid contemporary living space inside the existent building shell with its concrete plates between the floors.
