HOUSE OVER RIVER
The narrow plot with a steep drop towards the Drava river and a view of the Pohorje hills dictated a floor plan with all the living quarters facing these natural features. The ground floor is slightly elevated to allow the entrance to the garage and the design of a hanging wooden terrace. Wooden stairs lead from the house into the garden. The house is a prefabricated wooden building, made of larch panelling. The wood and the zink acquired a patina over the years, allowing the house to blend in with the surroundings.
