During World War II the political and military leadership of the Liberation Front of the Slovene nation and other partisan movements was established in Baza 20. Its location was never discovered until the end of the war. The memorial building, completed in the 1980s, features a multipurpose hall, where traditional building methods are combined with modernist elements.
