Lumarium – Intra Light Mastery Center is now open
The company Intra lighting, based in Šempeter pri Gorici, has just opened Lumarium – Intra Light Mastery Center, a new space dedicated to exploring, understanding, and experiencing light. Spanning 900 square meters, it combines a showroom, realistic demonstration environments, and areas for education, research, and the exchange of knowledge.
Intra lighting has long since evolved beyond being merely a manufacturing company. Through lighting design for diverse interior types, the operation of its own laboratory, and the provision of educational resources for users, it has established itself as a significant player in the lighting sector—both regionally and globally. With Lumarium, the company takes a step further. Lumarium is a space dedicated to light. It is not designed as a conventional showroom where the light fixtures themselves take center stage; rather, it is a space where light itself is the primary focus. Within various realistic settings—ranging from living spaces and offices to hotel rooms, hospital rooms, supermarkets, and clothing stores—visitors can experience firsthand how light shapes a space and influences how it is perceived. The center also features a lecture hall, “The Sense Room,” and the “Forms of Light” room.
The center is intended for clients, partners, secondary school and university students, employees, and the general public; it is designed as a space for connecting, exchanging ideas and knowledge, and exploring modern lighting technologies. It offers visitors the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with products, while its dynamic spaces are also used to showcase lighting solutions and scenarios.
