Maša Cvetko, architect and researcher

Maša Cvetko co-founded the Prostorož group in 2004 while studying at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana out of a desire to explore and understand open urban space. She is still actively involved in the group and works on various aspects of architecture, urbanism and design, including project management, fieldwork with residents, design, research and advocacy. She has been involved in award-winning projects both at home and abroad. She received a working grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia in 2014, the Golden Pencil Award in 2017, the European Prize for Urban Public Space in 2022 and the Plečnik Medal in 2023.
