Public Call for the Submission of Projects and Practices for Inclusion in the First Volume of ab: Architecture Yearbook 2027.

The Association of Architects of Ljubljana (DAL) and ab – Architects’ Bulletin announce an open call for the submission of projects and practices for inclusion in the first volume of the Architecture Yearbook 2027, a special edition of ab magazine, to be published in March 2027.

Architecture Yearbook is a biennial editorial selection of architectural practices. Its purpose is to identify and present works that make a significant contribution to the development of architecture, spatial culture, and the understanding of space in contemporary society.

Who Can Apply?

We invite submissions of built spatial projects as well as research, critical, publishing, curatorial, activist, and other practices that were completed, published, or publicly presented between January 2024 and May 2026.

The call is open to architects, landscape architects, urban planners, researchers, writers and critics, collectives, organizations, initiatives, public and private institutions, and other actors engaged in the field of the built environment and spatial practice.

Projects and practices eligible for submission must have been completed, published, or publicly presented between January 2024 and May 2026.

The Application Must Include:

a completed application form,
up to 5 photographs,
up to 5 graphic representations (drawings, diagrams, plans, or other visual materials),
a project description (maximum 2,000 characters including spaces),
a statement explaining the project’s relevance and significance (maximum 2,000 characters including spaces).

Submission Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by Sunday, 12 July 2026, at 23:59.
