Project CH
This holiday home, located in the natural scenery of Pohorje, is designed as a modern tribute to a peaceful life in nature. The compact floor plan of the building seems distinctly connected to the surroundings – natural wood on the façade, complemented by details in black shades, creates a warm and restrained architectural expression that does not dominate, but adapts to the terrain relief and the colour palette of the forest. The interior is designed open and bright, with a clearly articulated central living space, where the kitchen, dining room and living room act as a unified ambiance. The material palette of the interior follows the exterior: natural wood combined with a rusty red tone, microcement in a nuance taken from deep green ceramics and with thoughtful metal details creates a pleasant and airy atmosphere. Large glass surfaces provide natural lighting and continuous visual contact with nature. The curtains further soften this light and gently embrace the interior. Despite the smaller square footage, the interior is designed without compromise – it also includes an intimate spa corner with a sauna, which adds an element of relaxation and complete retreat to the overall design. The furniture is minimalist, but selected with a sense of tactility and functionality, which allows for comfortable everyday use without losing aesthetics. The house is not just a holiday home, but a holistic spatial experience – sustainable in materials, thoughtful in the floor plan and focused on the well-being of living.
The house is located in near Hočko Pohorje.
