Multipurpose sports tent Domžale

Hafner Architects have designed a new multi-purpose sports tent in Domžale, replacing an outdated canvas roller-skating tent. The new design is based on a lightweight prefabricated structure with insulated sandwich panels, giving the building a clean, contemporary appearance and long-lasting durability. Polycarbonate light panels play a special role, allowing natural, diffused light to fill the interior and create a pleasant, airy atmosphere for sports activities. In the evening, the façade comes to life with reflections of the interior’s ambient lighting, giving the building a warm and inviting character. The rhythmic articulation of the façade follows a vertical layout, contributing to the elegant, urban-forming presence of the structure, which, located at the town’s entrance, goes beyond the function of a simple sports tent. The result is a modern, functional, and visually distinctive sports facility that enhances the identity of the area.
