SOBBA
SOBBA, a showroom and sales center for Slovenian interiors, located on the ground floor of the iconic Metalka building, represents the first joint presentation of selected Slovenian furniture and interior design manufacturers under a unified brand. The showroom functions not only as an exhibition space but also as a living system of collaboration between companies, architects, clients, and users, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and contemporary design culture. The SOBBA project is led by the RC31 consortium – the development center for the creative furniture industry, which includes eight companies with long-standing tradition, diverse production, and international presence: Kolpa d.o.o. Metlika, Alples d.d. Železniki, Gonzaga-Pro d.o.o. Nova Gorica, Mizarstvo Humar d.o.o. Nova Gorica, F Modern, Tadej Faršang s.p. Murska Sobota, Donar-S d.o.o. Ljubljana, Vertigo Bird d.o.o. Kranj, and Rona Trgovina d.o.o.
The SOBBA showroom was created with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, and Sport, as part of the public tender JR INTERJER 2024–2026, aimed at promoting the long-term development of Slovenia’s wood and furniture industry.
