Oris Day 2026: Smiljan Radić and Christian Kerez in Zagreb
On Sunday, 8 November 2026, Zagreb will host Oris Day, an architectural symposium bringing together internationally renowned architects Smiljan Radić and Christian Kerez, alongside three Croatian architectural practices.

The event will take place at the Mozaik Event Centre (formerly the Hypo Centre), at 6 Slavonska Avenue in Zagreb.
The highlight of this year’s programme will be a conversation between Smiljan Radić Clarke, the 2026 Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate, and Swiss architect Christian Kerez. Their dialogue will explore architecture, the creative process, and contemporary challenges facing the architectural profession.
Smiljan Radić Clarke (born 1965 in Santiago, Chile) graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and continued his studies in Venice. His work explores the relationship between architecture, materiality, and space. In 2026, he received the Pritzker Architecture Prize, one of the most prestigious international distinctions in architecture.
Christian Kerez (born 1962 in Maracaibo, Venezuela) graduated from ETH Zurich and established his architectural practice in Zurich in 1993. He taught at ETH Zurich from 2001 to 2025 and at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2012. His practice operates from Switzerland and Albania, developing projects of various scales internationally.

New Perspectives in Croatian Architecture
Alongside the main conversation, three Croatian architectural practices featured in the New Perspectives exhibition, which marked the 11th anniversary of Oris House of Architecture, will present their work.
NEKOLIKO is a Zagreb-based architectural practice founded by Dora Lončarić and Mario Kralj. The studio works across a wide range of architectural scales and programmes.
Krešimir Damjanović has been practising independently since 2022. Alongside his architectural work, he is active in academia as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb.
SKUP-A is an architectural platform led by Filip Romić and Krešimir Romić. Their work explores technologies, processes, and materials, combining analogue and digital approaches to architectural design.
The conversations and lectures will be moderated by Mia Roth Čerina, Vedran Mimica, Maroje Mrduljaš, and Dinko Peračić.
The event is held under the patronage of the Embassy of Switzerland.
