{"id":49561,"date":"2026-01-05T14:11:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T13:11:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/razpis-za-plecnikove-nagrade-2026-je-odprt\/"},"modified":"2026-01-06T11:08:57","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T10:08:57","slug":"razpis-za-plecnikove-nagrade-2026-je-odprt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/en\/razpis-za-plecnikove-nagrade-2026-je-odprt\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Call for 2026 Ple\u010dnik Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"373\">The Jo\u017ee Ple\u010dnik Foundation is announcing the Open Call for 2026 Ple\u010dnik Awards &#8211; the central national recognition for outstanding achievements in architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, and interior design, completed within the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, as well as for works completed in Slovenian cross-border regions that enrich Slovenia\u2019s spatial culture.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"545\">Eligible works include those completed within the last three years in the field of landscape architecture and those completed within the last five years in other areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"716\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The Ple\u010dnik Awards comprise of Ple\u010dnik Award and Ple\u010dnik Medals. The Ple\u010dnik Award is granted to completed work that best embodies the mission of the Ple\u010dnik Awards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-49552 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/ps_nagrade_ls-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/ps_nagrade_ls-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/ps_nagrade_ls-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/ps_nagrade_ls-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/odprtehiseslovenije.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/ps_nagrade_ls-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ple\u010dnik Medals are awarded in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"65\" data-end=\"122\">Ple\u010dnik Medal for large-scale architectural realization<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"125\" data-end=\"183\">Ple\u010dnik Medal for medium-scale architectural realization<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"186\" data-end=\"243\">Ple\u010dnik Medal for small-scale architectural realization<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"246\" data-end=\"278\">Ple\u010dnik Medal for public space<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"281\" data-end=\"326\">Ple\u010dnik Medal for professional publications<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"329\" data-end=\"382\">Ple\u010dnik Medal for the enrichment of spatial culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"384\" data-end=\"666\">From the three categories &#8211; large-scale architectural realization, small-scale architectural realization, and public space &#8211; the jury awards two Ple\u010dnik Medals and one Ple\u010dnik Award. In the category to which the work receiving the Ple\u010dnik Award belongs, no Ple\u010dnik Medals are awarded.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"1047\">The Foundation also announces a separate student recognition in the form of a scholarship. The Ple\u010dnik Foundation Scholarship encourages graduates in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, or other spatially related studies at the beginning of their professional careers and is awarded as recognition of the recipient\u2019s academic and extracurricular achievements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1259\">Nominations for the award can be submitted by anyone, including the authors of the proposed works.
