From October 17 to 19, 2025<\/strong>, Zagreb will host the Open House Zagreb <\/strong>festival for the third time, offering visitors a chance to explore more than 40 important architectural sites and spaces across the city. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cHeritage of the Future\u201d<\/strong>, a continuation of last year\u2019s theme \u201cRevitalization of Architectural Heritage.\u201d The festival explores how the past connects with the future of architecture and how today\u2019s spaces are becoming the heritage of tomorrow.<\/p>\n

At the press conference held at the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the speakers were: OHZ Creative Director Dubravka Vrgo\u010d, President of the OHZ Jury Dr. Irena Kra\u0161evac, OHZ Jury member Senka Dombi, Sa\u0161a Kecerin from Velux Croatia, partner of the 3rd OHZ, and OHZ Executive Director Tomislava Blatnik. They presented the main theme of the festival and program, which you can find at www.openhousezagreb.org<\/a><\/strong> or in the official brochure<\/a>.<\/strong> Participation in the festival is free of charge, but advance registration for guided tours is required. Registrations open on October 1, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe festival program showcases buildings and spaces of different functions and scales. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a variety of architecture, from family homes and ateliers to urban complexes. In this way, citizens will understand why these spaces and places are examples of good architecture and why we are passing them on as valuable heritage to future generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
